I wanted to finish this painting before the end of the year and here it is. This painting is called 'Letting Go'. This to me represents our temple, our heart, losing something special represented here by the raft carrying a man, our emotional baggage, navigating an ocean of sorrow to the deep hole that we feel in our hearts when we are feeling like we are losing someone or something. The pain that we can't let go of is represented by this gigantic stone god, screaming out his frustration. But deep in his throat, the pain and suffering passes, and you can see light and peace, beckoning you to surrender.

So for the end of 2018, I invite you to let go of what no longer serves you and to enter into a fresh new state of mind for 2019.
